Elizabeth Pike Probst

Elizabeth Pike Probst of Marietta, GA, loving wife, mother, and dear friend passed away on January 5 as the result of an accident. Born on April 19, 1947 to Thomas and Betty Pike of Louisville, KY who moved their daughter to San Diego at the age of three. After attending U.C. Berkley, Liz graduated from the University of Washington then joined the Peace Corps in 1969. She served in Chile until 1973 when she joined United AirlinesĀ as a Flight Attendant. Liz met and married the love of her life, Robert P. Probst, in 1977 and became the proud mother of Thomas Louis in 1981 and Robert Christian of in 1982. Also in 1982, Liz and Bob brought Monica Martinez from Chile to become a member of the Probst family. Liz's 37 year career with United Airlines enabled her to make friends around the world. Her zest and vitality for life, her caring and giving nature gave untold number of people the opportunity to consider Liz as their best friend. There will be a celebration of Liz's life on Friday, January 7 at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 4814 Paper Mill Road, Marietta, GA.
